Principal of RMPhysio, Geoff Clark graduated from the

University of Qld in 1991 and has over 20 years experience in

private clinical practice and sports medicine, at all levels.

 

In 2007 Geoff joined the  Queensland Reds to lead the

medical program that culminated in the Super Title winning team of 2011. He was also the Australian Wallabies Physio and played a key medical role preparing the Wallabies for the 2013  British & Irish Lions test matches. Prior to that Geoff worked in the UK for many years in a highly regarded London Barbican Sports Medicine Clinic followed by 5 years as Lead Physiotherapist with Bath Rugby.

 

Geoff is well known in the area after being a former owner at Allsports Red Hill and previously the Spring Hill Sports Medicine Clinic. He has a long association with the GPS Old Boys Rugby Club in Ashgrove which continues today. With over 10 years  experience in contact & collision sports he has in depth understanding of orthopaedic and soft tissue rehabilitation which translates so well to the needs of his clients in everyday life. 

 

Brooke is an APA accredited Sports Physiotherapist with over 12 years

experience treating and rehabilitating sports injuries. Brooke’s Sports

Physio coverage includes the Australian Flatwater canoe/kayak

team, Australian Women’s National Basketball League, various club 

level women’s and men’s rugby teams, and Australian Women’s Football W-League. 

 

Brooke has been an athlete on the Australian Rowing Team for 8 years and is a dual Olympian, World Rowing Champion and Silver medallist from the 2012 London Olympic Games. Brooke is also available for Rowing Specific Sports Physiotherapy screenings.

Matt is a Soft Tissue Therapist who has nearly 20 years experience. 

Matt¹s passion, knowledge and skills have seen him become one of

Australia¹s leading practitioners. Over the past 10 years Matt has 

been the full-time Soft Tissue Therapist for teams such as theWallabies, 

Brisbane Lions AFC and The Qld Reds Super 15 teams which has seen Matt travelling internationally & domestically as part of his position. In addition, Matt was also was selected as a member of Australia¹s Medical Team at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. 

 

Matt is a sought after Lecturer & was one of the Key Note Speakers at the 2009 Australian Soft Tissue Conference held in Sydney. Many of Australia¹s top elite athletes seek out Matt¹s skills & knowledge. Specialising in Sporting Injuries & Athletic Performance, Matt has many years of treating private patients as well. Some of the techniques Matt uses in his treatments are Soft Tissue Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofasical Cupping, Dry Needling  & M.E.T Stretching. A full member of ANTA, Matt¹s treatment is covered by most private health funds.

 

 

 

Anthony Van Westreenan BHlth.Sc.(Pod) 

Podiatrist

Anthony completed his podiatry degree at QUT. He enjoys treating in all aspects of podiatry with a special interest in biomechanics and the treatment of sports injuries of the foot and lower limb. Anthony has an extensive history in retail footwear and with this background, he is passionate about patients needs and their concise footwear prescriptions.

 

With a playing and coaching background in AFL and Rugby Union, Anthony has good understanding of the physical demands placed on the bodies of athletes.
