How do I arrange an appointment?
Please phone Reception on 3369 5433 to arrange an appointment time
Do I need a referral ?
A referral is not required to see any of the RMPhysio team.
Will my appointment be covered by Medicare or Private Health Insurance?
All appointments at this clinic are typically covered by private health insurance depending on your level of ancillary cover. It is best to contact your insurer directly to determine what your rebate will be for a particular service.
Please bring along your private health insurance membership card to enable your claim to be processed immediatley after your consultation.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring along any relevant scans and/or reports, imaging, Xrays etc, or referral letters you may have.
Any intra-operative photos from any procedures you may have had are also very helpful to give us a more in-depth understanding of your condition.
If you are coming to see us for a lower limb or lumbar spine issue, please bring your runners/sports shoes along for evaluation.
If you are attending the clinic under Workcover, DVA or any agreed third party case please bring all associated documents.
How long will my consutation take?
A initial consultation is usually one hour. Further consultations are typically 30 mins unless an extended consultation is suggested.
Do you see worker’s compensation or motor vehicle accident clients?
Yes. If you are attending the clinic under Workcover, DVA or any agreed third party case please bring all associated documents.
If you are attending under a CTP claim you will be required to pay at time of consultation and seek reimbursement yourself from your compensable body. For furtherr information please check this with your insurer before attending for your appointment.
What if I arrive late for my appointment?
Should you arrive late for your appointment your practitioner will do their best to provide you with your full treatment time but in some situations appointments will need to be rescheduled or treatment time reduced.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes. Please phone RMPhysio at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if you wish to cancel or change your appointment. Cancelling your appointment within 24hours may incur a cancellation fee.
Please note for 7.30am appointments cancelling on the day or not arriving for an appointment will incur a cancellation fee of the full amount.
